All of the pieces in our collection begin at our Brooklyn studio, shaped from fresh porcelain. Each one is carefully hand-formed and hand-painted, then undergoes three separate kiln firings - Bisque, Glaze and gold luster - before it is complete.
Every step is guided by patience, precision, and a deep care for both the objects we create and the people who wear them.
A touch of gold
Each piece is completed with a meticulous application of premium gold luster. Once fired, it reveals a deep, radiant gold that brings the final refinement to the design.
Meet the maker
Trained in graphic, packaging, textile, and industrial design, Carolina Spitzer has been engaged in a myriad of jobs within the design, advertising, and museum industries. Since 2005 she has catered to both the South American commerce in Buenos Aires - her hometown - as well as the US market in NYC, where she lives with her family.
In 2017, Carolina left her last full-time job as a designer at a home fashions manufacturer in order to focus on her young child and attain a higher work/life balance. It was during this time that she decided to use her design expertise and knowledge to develop a unique line of whimsical and sophisticated products. In the beginning she focused on small home accessories and then shifted towards one of her lifelong passions, jewelry.
Carolina believes in shopping for products that can stay with you for years, and her goal is that her objects will become modern family heirlooms.
